Our Costumes |

Yavir prides itself on its impressive collection of costumes |
 |
 |
Costumes spanning the regions of Zakarpattia, Hutsulschyna, Bukovyna, Podillia, Polissia, Central Ukraine and others, that provide the dancers with an opportunity to be a part of a rich variety of regional dances. The following are rules for costume usage at Yavir.

| 1. |
Costumes are provided to dancers for an annual fee payable as part of registration. |
 |
| 2. |
Ensembles and pre-ensembles are loaned full costumes for use at Yavir performances. |
 |
| 3. |
Ensembles and pre-ensemble girls are to wear beige pantyhose for performances. Boys must wear black socks. |
 |
| 4. |
Beginner, Junior and Intermediate groups: |

The school will supply skirts and headpieces for girls and pants and belts for boys |
 |
 |
 |
Girls and boys must supply their own embroidered blouses and shirts |
 |
 |
 |
Girls are to wear white leotards for performances |
 |

| 5. |
All costumes are property of Yavir School of Ukrainian Dance and must be returned on plastic hangers in excellent condition after each performance. |

| 6. |
Air out costumes after concerts to avoid mould damage. DO NOT wash or dry clean costumes. Place it in the costume bag provided once the costume is dry. |

Please note that dancers may be charged replacement fees for costumes that are permanently damaged by carelessness. |
